Raising Futures: Supporting Learning and Growth in Early Childhood

A 10-session workshop designed for parents and caregivers who want to build strong foundations for student success. We explore key areas of early childhood development—academic readiness, social-emotional learning, and healthy boundaries—through engaging lessons, hands-on activities, and meaningful group conversations where participants share their stories and experiences.

The Raising Futures curriculum is aligned with the early learning standards established by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Upon successful completion of the program, participants are honored in a graduation ceremony.

This Workshop is For:

Parents, family members and caregivers
Early childhood teacher assistants
Daycare providers and daycare owners
Community leaders and advocates
Anyone involved in raising or educating young children

Main Objectives:

Empower parents and caregivers with evidence-based parenting skills that will help them cultivate empathy and effective communication with their children
Strengthen early learning foundations
Build community through shared learning
Teach parents and caregivers about their rights and responsibilities within the US education system
